A striker of the Israeli national team who was injured in training was diagnosed with a dry contusion of the ankle • Alon Hazan hopes that Ramzi Spuri will be able to start in the team • "If necessary, another player will be invited to the squad. Currently Oscar Gloch will play with the young team"

Israel national team striker Sean Weissman was examined last night (Tuesday) by the medical team on his ankle and was diagnosed with only a dry contusion.

The player himself calmed down already yesterday and said that he will play against Albania, but the team did not take any risks.

In fact, Weissman is the senior striker in the squad after the removal of Eran Zahavi, while the next in the rotation is Tai Bribo.

In the meantime, the national team hopes that midfielder Ramsey Spori will also be fit and able to start in the lineup.

If that happens, a front four appears that will include Spuri, Dolev Haziza, Liel Abda and Shawn Weissman.

"We have a strong attack, players who play at the highest levels abroad or with the Israeli teams in the Champions League and Conference League" tried to calm the team and added: "If necessary, another player will be invited to the squad.

Right now Oskar Gloch will play with the young team, but as we have seen with the recent injuries, things are fluid."

In the other positions, coach Alon Hazan is almost locked in.

In goal, the tendency is to start with Hapoel BS goalkeeper Amri Glazer and in defense with Eli Desa, Doron Leidner, Miguel Vitor and Shawn Goldberg.
