These selections have decided to join the OneLove campaign, launched to promote inclusion and fight against discrimination.

In line with the actions spawned by the highly controversial World Cup in Qatar (November 20 - December 18), here are now the captain's armbands for a number of caps.

Ten of them, all European and including the France team, have decided to join the OneLove campaign, which fights against discrimination.

The captains will wear a special armband from the next League of Nations matches, the logo of which is intended to be "representative of all walks of life".

Launched by the Dutch federation, the movement has been joined by France, England, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Wales.

"The OneLove campaign will use the power of football to promote inclusion and send a message against discrimination of any kind as the eyes of the world turn to the global game," the FA said in a statement.

We are uniting with nine other European countries in support of OneLove, a campaign that will use the power of football to promote inclusion and send a message against discrimination.

"I am honored to join my fellow national team captains in supporting the important OneLove campaign," said Harry Kane.

As captains, we may all be competing against each other on the pitch, but we stand together against all forms of discrimination.

This is even more relevant at a time when division is common in society.

Wearing the armband together on behalf of our teams sends a clear message when the world is watching us.

On the occasion of the round of 16 of Euro 2021 between the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, Georginio Wijnaldum has already worn a “One Love” armband in support of the LGBT cause.

“We are against all forms of exclusion and discrimination.

In this way, we hope to support all those who feel discriminated against all over the world, ”said the future PSG player, who now plays for AS Roma.

Still in Qatar, Robert Lewandowski, the captain of Poland, will have around his arm, in addition to his own, the armband with the colors of Ukraine to demonstrate against the Russian invasion of its Ukrainian neighbor.

Finally, the players of the England team will wear a black armband during their next Nations League matches against Italy and Germany to commemorate the late Queen Elizabeth II.
