BZL derby between SVA Palzing and BC Attaching: The friendship rests for 90 minutes

BC Attaching and SVA Palzing are not only well known because of their physical proximity, the two trainers also know and appreciate each other.

– Gianluca Dello Buono missed the last game due to illness.

Now the trainer of SVA Palzing is fit again and the table in the sports restaurant of BC Attaching has already been reserved.

Because after the derby in the Nord district league (Friday, 7:30 p.m.), Dello Buono and BCA coach Enes Mehmedovic will meet there for a pizza – there is definitely a lot to talk about.

Mehmedovic played one for SVA Palzing: "They are very nice people there"

When Dello Buono (37) ended his playing career in 2019, he was playing for BC Attaching.

His coach: Mehmedovic, who has been 41 since last Saturday.

"We have a very good relationship and exchange ideas regularly - both sportingly and privately," says the younger trainer.

His counterpart moved from Bosnia to Germany at the age of ten.

Football made it easier for Mehmedovic to integrate.

He spent a large part of his youth in Palzing and in the offspring of the SVA.

“These are very nice people there.

They helped me a lot with the adjustment,” says the Attachinger coach.

He is looking forward to seeing you again on Friday, but announces: "The friendship must then rest for 90 minutes."

Because the BCA urgently needs points.

The promoted team ranks at the bottom of the table with four points.

The four points from the first two games were not added in the following seven games.

Also because several important players were always missing.

“Against Palzing we are almost complete.

For the first time I can start with the desired line-up to some extent,” says Mehmedovic.

The BCA need their key players to stay in class.

That was clear before the season, and the past few weeks have reinforced this.

Mehmedovic knows that it will be difficult against Palzing: “They are further in some areas.

And they have a little run.”

SVA Palzing: Schneider questionable before the Attaching Derby

The SVA got nine points from the last six games, only with the top team from Dornach did Palzinger go empty-handed.

A guarantee of success is Alexander Schneider, who thrives on the sixth position.

"Alex was the player of the game in the 3:5 win against Dornach," says Dello Buono about the new signing from Oberhaindlfing.

The 22-year-old played up front there, but his new coach pulled him back.

"He behaves tactically very skilfully and fetches the second ball," said the SVA coach.

With his understanding of the game, he brings up the Palzinger game.

He made the jump from the A class to the district league without any problems.

However, Schneider has problems with a wound from the Rohrbach game.

Its use is questionable.

Nevertheless, coach Dello Buono is optimistic.

The only question that remains is who will have to foot the bill after the game.

"The loser has to pay for the pizza.

I hope it's not me," said the 37-year-old.
