Italian club Genoa announced the termination of his contract with Ukrainian coach Andriy Shevchenko, after he was relieved of the task, along with his technical staff, last January.
The club stated in a statement on its official website that Shevchenko's contract was terminated by mutual consent between the two parties.
Ukrainian coach Shevchenko led Genoa in 11 matches, winning in one match, drawing in 3 matches and losing in seven others.
Genoa occupies fifth place in the table of the Italian second division this season, with 11 points.
