Syria's men's football team will face its Jordanian counterpart tomorrow in the international friendly quartet tournament

The Syrian men's football team has put the final touches on its preparations to meet its Jordanian counterpart tomorrow in the international friendly quartet tournament held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The four-way tournament will be held with the participation of the teams of Iraq and the Sultanate of Oman as well, where they will meet tomorrow in the other match, knowing that the winner of this match and the winner of our team’s match with its Jordanian counterpart will meet in the final match scheduled for next Tuesday according to the tournament system, while the losers play to determine the third and fourth places.

Our national team coach Hossam El-Sayed stressed the importance of our team’s participation in this tournament. He said in the press conference for the coaches of the participating teams that the tournament constitutes a strong start for the team’s preparation for the upcoming Asian finals, and we will do our best to provide a good performance and achieve a remarkable result against Jordan.

Al-Sayed added that our team had suffered during the previous period from the lack of administrative and technical stability after a number of coaches punished it during the year and a half. Therefore, participation in this tournament comes to restore confidence and hope in the team again, especially as it is an opportunity to assess the level of players after the recent internal preparations and camps and through which they can Building for the stage of preparing the national team for the next period, especially in terms of teamwork.

Al-Sayed explained that the exercises started as soon as the team's delegation arrived in Amman and began to take an ascending line by focusing on the physical condition and the technical condition through tactical sentences from the offensive and defensive sides.

Our team conducted its training during the past few days in preparation for the tournament on three stadiums, the first of which is Al Karama Stadium, the second Khraibet Al Souk and the third Amman International Stadium.

The Syrian national team will be represented in the tournament. Players: Ahmed Madania, Shaher Al-Shaker, Taha Moussa, Saad Ahmed, Thaer Karuma, Omar Maidani, Bilal Halbouni, Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, Khaled Kardaghli, Abdul Rahman Weis, Hussein Juweed, Ahmed Al-Dali, Kamel Hamisheh, Muhammad Marmour, Maher Daaboul, Amr Janiyat, Mahmoud Al-Mawas, Hussam Ayesh, Ammar Ramadan and Muhammad Rihaniya Omar Al-Soma, Alaa Al-Dali and Mahmoud Al-Bahr.
