The last Madrid derby, in which Real defeated Atlético 1:2, will be remembered mainly because of the ugly events that took place before and during the game.
Today (Thursday) the full refereeing report from that match was published, which includes no less than 24 different sections of cases of violence and racism, most of which were directed at the Real player, Vinicius. This is the partial list:
1. At 19:25, at the same time as her arrival at the Real Madrid stadium, about 500 local Atlético fans who were in the access area for the players sang the following chant: "You are a monkey, Vinicius you are a monkey!".
2. 12 minutes before the start of the game, about 2,000 local fans, located in the lower stands, chanted for about 15 seconds: "Vinicius will die!".
3. In the 17th minute of the game, a lighter and several empty bottles were thrown onto the field from the south stand, which was occupied by local fans, without harming any player.
The lighter was collected by the referee and handed over to the team representative.
Also, the referee informed the representative that he would warn through the public address system that until the throwing of the objects stopped, the game would not be resumed.
This fact is reflected in the minutes of the game.
The committee of La Liga registered about 24 events of classic violence between Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid.
The report was sent to the Anti-Violence Commission and the Competition Committee.
