The NBA league has been in turmoil for the past day due to the developments in the Judoka horror case.

The Boston coach was suspended by his team for an entire season because he had an inappropriately intimate relationship with a staff member at the club, and was severely punished.

A decision regarding Judoka's future beyond the current season has not yet been made.

The heads of the club first became aware of the relationship between the coach and the staff member already in July - a relationship that was initially consensual.

But according to the "Athletic", when Yudoka sent problematic insinuations, the woman complained and then the course of action was decided.

"I guess everyone in the club is sick right now," said another general manager in the league to the "Fox" network.

"They were candidates to win the championship, and that puts them on a slippery slope. If the beginning of the season is difficult, they will start pointing the finger of blame at each other and doubt their leadership. It will affect everyone."

Yudoka was a dizzying success story in his first season in Boston, which he led to the NBA Finals.

The beginning was not easy, but starting in the middle of the season, the Celtics became one of the best teams in the league (6:26 in their last 32 games in the regular season), and they received quite a bit of the credit.

"This is a fatal blow for Boston, because he did a tremendous job last season," said one scout in the league.

After the surprising victory over Golden State in the first game of the final series, Marcus Smart complimented the man on the lines: "His energy is contagious."

Into Yudoka's shoes will come his assistant Joe Mazzola, only 34 years old, but much loved by the players.

"I love Joe, I can't stop complimenting him," Jayson Tatum said during last year's playoffs.

"He is much more comfortable as a coach, you could see his development during the year. He helped me in an unusual way as a player and as a person."

"Everyone appreciates the things he brings to the team, I'm glad he's with us."

"When I took up my role, I talked to all the people in the organization," Yudoka said last year, "I also talked to the players, and Joe received many compliments. I didn't really know him, but the players really appreciated him. There was a consensus around him."

A few months ago Matzola even interviewed for the position of Utah's head coach, but lost the race to Yudoka's senior assistant in the Celtics - Will Hardy.

Hardy tried to take his friend with him, but Mazola chose to stay in Boston in the end.
