FC Bayern players on the road: Two Frenchmen stayed on the bench – including de Ligt without a game
With a 2-0 win over Austria, France averted relegation from Nations League Group A.
At the Stade de France, however, there was only one Bayern player, Marcel Sabitzer, who was substituted after 69 minutes.
The two Munich defenders Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard, on the other hand, remained unplayed on the bench throughout the game.
Josip Stanisic, who has played five senior internationals since his debut for the Croatian national team in October, also had to sit on the bench for 90 minutes in the runners-up' 2-1 win over Denmark.

FCB pros on an international trip: Mazraoui is injured with his national team
In addition to Bayern Munich's third French defender Lucas Hernández, who is still out after his injury in the game against Barcelona, Noussair Mazraoui is now also absent.
The right-back was injured as part of his comeback in the Moroccan national team, according to the official statement, the 24-year-old will be out for 4-5 days and will certainly miss the first friendly against Chile.
The Association of North Africans, however, refrained from a precise diagnosis of the Bayern professional.
Noussair Mazraoui (2nd from left) injured his ankle, Matthijs de Ligt (2nd from right) was only able to sit on the bench.
Alphonso Davies only made his international debut on Friday evening, the left-back will be taking his Canadians to a friendly in Qatar.
Given his key role in the team, the 21-year-old could be the only Bayern defensive player who is not given a break.
Sadio Mané is also on tour with Senegal, and the Africa Cup of Nations winner could regain the self-confidence he lost in the two friendlies against Bolivia and Iran.
