The director of the basketball league issued an official announcement today (Friday), following the injury of CJ Harris from Hapoel Holon.
"Although, according to an inspection by the Standards Institute, it was confirmed that the stickers do not slip, the league director decided to move the stickers placed under the baskets to another place on the floor during the Winner Basket Cup games," it was reported.
"After the holiday there will be a meeting between the representatives of the administration and the representatives of the players' organization regarding the stickers.
It is important to note that in all leagues in Europe it is acceptable to use parquet stickers, including the last EuroBasket."
