The district league footballers of the SpVgg Kammerberg want to clear the gap from last weekend in Rohrbach on Sunday.

Kammerberg

– SpVgg Kammerberg and TSV Rohrbach have never shared the points in the district league north.

This is all the more surprising as both teams have a comparable level of performance.

"Little things will decide this time, too," says SpVgg player coach Matthias Koston before the away game.

He hopes that his team will win their ninth victory in the 15th district league duel on Sunday (2.30 p.m.).

Weakest performance of the season against Günzlhofen

The balance of the Kammerberger has gotten scratches in the past clashes.

Because the Rohrbachers recently celebrated three times in a row.

TSV is also above the game association in the table.

Hard, but still.

Last weekend, both teams lived up to their reputation as grab bags: Rohrbach had no chance at 4-1 in Palzing - and the Kammerberg footballers showed their weakest performance of the season in their 2-0 home defeat against basement child Günzlhofen.

"We needed this week to digest what happened last matchday," admits Koston.

And further: "We lacked the basic virtues."

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

TSV Rohrbach has to do without Dominik Kaindl

The trainer expects a significant improvement in Rohrbach: “We have to improve our duels and show the necessary bite.

We missed that against Günzlhofen,” Koston knows.

The willingness to go where it can sometimes hurt will also be required.

For example, with stationary balls.

“Your strength in set pieces is well known, even if Kaindl, your specialist, is out,” says Koston.

To date, the Rohrbacher Kickers have successfully compensated for the loss of captain Dominik Kaindl.

One that the game association has to watch out for is Hannes Frank.

The offensive player has six goals after eight appearances.

“They have dangerous wingers and switch well.

We want to make the game, challenge them and take something away," says Koston.

If the Kammerbergers do a good job, they will overtake their opponents in the standings.

A jump to fifth place in the table is even possible.
