In the middle of the week, a petition was submitted against Zimon Azili to the Israel national team by a number of women's organizations who joined forces claiming that the midfielder "has not yet realized the seriousness of his actions" and that his summons contradicts the requirement for all players of the squad "to be aware of the fact that he is a role model who must maintain the representative status of the national team and the appropriate behavior his status as a national team player", but the Supreme Court of the Football Association ruled that under the circumstances of the aforementioned case, there is no obstacle to canceling the player's summons.
