After three defeats in three games, the USAP finally launched its season this Saturday afternoon with a great victory against Toulon (19-13) at the start of the 4th day of the Top 14. David Marty's men were keen to do well in front of their public for the 120th anniversary of the club.

The rain came to the party and poured down in the first half.
We suspected that the game was going to suffer, and it was therefore who would show the most desire in the impacts.

The RCT harmless for too long
Draft, clumsy, and ultimately not very enterprising, RC Toulon did not show much in this match.
The rare opportunities were wasted by hand faults and throws that were far too imprecise (7 touches lost!).
The men of Pierre Mignoni and Franck Azéma never seemed able to spoil the Catalan party.
Dréan's fine try in the last seconds (his second of the season) was a far too late awakening, and Perpignan was able to calmly manage their lead.
After the defeat in Toulouse 15 days ago, this is the second away setback for Toulon which does not confirm its success against Clermont last week.
