Triple jump: Israel's triple profit if they beat Albania
Achieving first place in Group 2 of Tier B in the Nations League not only guarantees a place in the playoffs for promotion to the Euros, but will boost the team to the second tier in the Euro qualifiers (with a better chance of automatically qualifying) and also to the senior tier in the next Nations League campaign
Voila system!

Alon Hazan is a guest on the program Seara in the kingdom, part 1 (Sport1)
Much has been said in the past week about the importance of the Israeli national team's game tonight (Saturday, 21:45) at the Bloomfield Stadium against Albania.
A victory will guarantee the team the first place in Group 2 of Tier B in the League of Nations, from which, as I remember, Russia was cut following the fighting in Ukraine.
A draw will send Alon Hazan and his players crossing their fingers on Tuesday that Iceland do not win in Albania, while a loss will turn the meeting between the two rivals into a decisive battle.
As far as Israel is concerned, tonight's game is all about the pot.
And in this case, the jackpot is triple.

1. A ticket for the Euro promotion playoffs
First of all, winning the leadership of the House guarantees Israel a second chance to reach the Euro.
Assuming that the team is not among the top two at home in the Euro qualifiers, it will "return" to the Nations League to compete in the playoffs (semi-finals and final).
Second place can also be enough, depending on the identity of the winners from the qualifiers and as it was for example last time (Israel was drawn in the semi-finals against Scotland and lost on penalties), but the head of the house gives certainty in the matter and perhaps also a more favorable draw in the playoffs (against the winners of the second tier houses and not as an alternate as was the case in -2020).

2. A guaranteed place in the second tier in the Euro qualifying draw
Currently, Israel is in 19th place in the League of Nations, according to which the ranks are also determined for the Euro qualifier draw to be held on October 9 in Frankfurt.
Each tier includes 10 national teams: in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, the team was at the bottom of the third tier (30th place) and at least at the moment (as home team) it is in the second ten, along with England, Poland and Switzerland.
This means avoiding a meeting with a team from the second tier and on paper a better chance of finishing in one of the first two places in the qualifiers - places that grant an automatic ticket to the Euros.
Of course, even in that case, everything depends on the draw, in which there will be seven houses with five teams and another three houses with six teams.
The tiers will only be official at the end of the Nations League games, but there is a difference if you get Albania, Iceland or Armenia from Tier C, as opposed to Serbia, Ukraine or Sweden.
The ranks for the Euro qualifiers at the moment (not final):
Tier A:
Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, France, Czech Republic
Tier B:
Poland, Austria, Switzerland, England, Wales, Norway, Bosnia, Israel, Scotland, Ukraine
Tier C:
Iceland, Serbia, Montenegro, Ireland, Finland, Albania, Sweden, Romania, Armenia, Slovenia Tier
D:
Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Greece, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Slovakia
Tier E:
Faroe Islands, Northern Ireland, Belarus, Cyprus, Lithuania, Gibraltar, Estonia, Latvia, Moldova, Malta Tier
6:
Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein

3. Promotion to Tier A in the League of Nations
First place in the 2022/23 Nations League gives the team a "league promotion" ahead of the 2024/25 campaign in the factory.
This means that next time, Israel will be one of the top 16 teams of the League of Nations and will be drawn in the first tier that includes the European Lions.
Absurdly, England has been relegated and France is also still in danger, while Israel has a good chance of taking their place.
Beyond the prestigious placement and the exciting meetings that tier A may invite, it is about improving the situation for future campaigns and securing the second tier in the next qualifiers as well.
