The Parisiennes receive their neighbors from Essonne this Sunday (12:45 p.m.) with the firm intention of continuing their faultless champion

After a taste of the Champions League, there's nothing like a derby in the Ile-de-France.

Now led by Gérard Prêcheur, the PSG players progressed in steamroller mode during the first two days, signing two victories with 6 goals scored against none conceded.

This Sunday (12:45 p.m.), they intend to continue their march forward by welcoming Fleury to the Georges-Lefèvre stadium in Saint-Germain en Laye, as part of a derby in the Ile-de-France region.

The Essonne players, one win and one draw, got off to a fairly good start but will be handicapped by the absences of their captain Lea Le Garrec and Rosemonde Kouassi, top scorer so far with three goals.

The latter are indeed both suspended after the red card received last week during another stormy derby, against Paris FC (1-1).

On the PSG side, if the team remains on a narrow 2-1 victory against the Swedes of Häcken in the first leg of the Champions League, the bad vibrations are mainly extra-sporting and linked to the latest developments in the Hamraoui affair this week.

“I am not a sports director”

Prêcheur does not envisage her returning to the team before the international break from October 3.

The technician does not wish to modify the contours of his team before a close sequence of three matches: Fleury this Sunday, Häcken in the Champions League return play-off on Wednesday, then Le Havre D1, Sunday October 2.

“We will see at the beginning of October, for the moment the club has not discussed the question with me, declared Prêcheur in a press conference on Wednesday, after the 2-1 victory against the Swedes.

For the moment, the club protects the group and the coach.

I am a coach above all, I am not a sports director, ”he argued, suggesting that the file should above all be discussed with the Parisian staff.

If we want to claim to play the leading roles in the league, we have no room for error.

If we take two points behind Lyon in the weekend, we will drag them for a very long time.

Me, I take an exam every three days, ”he explained to justify the current status quo concerning Hamraoui.

She has been kept away from the professional group since April after an altercation with a teammate.

The 32-year-old midfielder, violently attacked by masked men in November 2021, was however "released" from the coach on Tuesday, at the end of the summer transfer window.

Also on Wednesday, Aminata Diallo, suspected of being involved in the attack on Hamraoui in early November, was released five days after being indicted for "aggravated violence" and "criminal association" and having been incarcerated.

Placed under strict judicial control, the former PSG player is notably prohibited from coming into contact with members of the PSG team and management.
