The parity score of 2-2 could have been enough for the happiness of the team coached by the 1998 world champion, Bernard Diomede, who were ahead of Poland in the tournament standings on goal difference.
But the French cracked.
Ilyes Housni, author of the first French goal, was first excluded (55th), imitated by Jeanuël Belocian (60th), Yoni Gomis (72nd) and Darnell Éric Bilé (75th).
In the meantime, the Poles took the opportunity to take the lead through Kacper Maciak (3-2, 70th) and won the 15th edition of this Limoges tournament.
