While Eliud Kipchoge subtracted thirty seconds from his previous record, Hassan Chahdi won the 20 km of Tours this Sunday.
The only Frenchman entered during the marathon of the Worlds in Eugene then immersed himself in the passing times and the images of the Berlin marathon in order to grasp the scope of the performance of the Kenyan.
"I did not expect him to break this record, he had already set the bar high but he still has a small margin," said the 33-year-old athlete.
