After the dramatic victory over Albania, national coach Alon Hazan announced this morning (Sunday) the squad for the friendly match against Malta this Tuesday.
Bottom line: The team will feature a secondary roster with Shawn Weissman, Beavers Natcho and Eli Dassa, who excelled last night, being the senior players.
Alon Hazan chose not to call up the players of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa: Omer Atzili, Dolev Haziza, Neta Lavi and Shawn Goldberg will be rested from the ranks of the champion, as will the representatives of Maccabi Tel Aviv Gabi Kanikowski and Dan Glazer.
