The game last night (Monday) between Montenegro and Finland in Group C, Tier B in the League of Nations, managed to interest more people than expected.
Under the pouring rain in Podgorica, the first 20 minutes made the grass look like a battlefield and the net wondered what exactly was going on there.
Between the 9th minute and the 19th minute, the French referee Francois Lataxier issued no fewer than five yellow cards to the Montenegrin players, with two of them directed at Zarko Tomasevic, who was sent off.
Later, the Montenegrins made three quick substitutions and the whole occurrence raised question marks.
The celebration of tickets and substitutions gave way in the second half to two quick goals by Finland, but in the 67th minute the local Urosh Djordjevic received another yellow card and immediately afterwards coach Miodrag Radulovic was removed from the bench.
At the end of a tumultuous evening and also some question marks regarding certain betting ratios, 0:2 to Finland.
Coincidence, or more than that?

While some surfers were amused by the developments, there were also those who wondered about the kosherness of the Montenegrin game.
"Does anyone know what's going on there?", "There's a war between Montenegro and Finland and we haven't heard about it?", some tweeted and another added: "Crazy rain, bad pitch, Montenegro received 5 yellows and a red until the 19th minute and made 3 substitutions until the 19th minute 35. Hilarious! I love it."

And there were also allegations of racism by the Montenegrin players towards the Finnish Glen Kamara
Thanks to the victory, Finland was saved from relegation to the third tier and remained in the second tier - together with Montenegro.
Romania was relegated because they lost to the Montenegrins twice.
