London – The Nations League game between England and Germany revealed weaknesses in both World Cup participants.
In the 3-3 draw, the German team initially led 2-0 before the hosts turned the game around to concede the equalizer shortly before the end.
Some of the hits fell with the help of the opponent.
One player in particular was unpopular with the hosts, Harry Maguire from Manchester United made crucial mistakes in front of two goals and was even criticized by Uli Hoeneß after the game.
England vs Germany: Harry Maguire conceded two goals – Hoeneß also criticized him
Maguire, who has been criticized by English fans for months due to questionable performances, made a big effort before the Germans took the lead 1-0.
First he played into the foot of the DFB youngster Jamal Musiala in the build-up game, before he violently knocked him off his feet in the penalty area in the next action.
The result was a penalty, which İlkay Gündoğan easily converted.
Maguire, who played in the back three on the left, was also the starting point before the visitors' second goal.
The strong Jamal Musiala stole the ball from the 29-year-old in his own penalty area, then it happened very quickly.
At the end of the attack, it was Kai Havertz who flicked the ball into the top corner to make it 2-0.

Uli Hoeneß, who gave his opinion as an expert on RTL, couldn't help but mention Maguire in his game review.
“The game was of course a game in different phases.
The first half was a skirmish from both sides, so you could tell that both teams were trying to find their form,” he summarized the first 45 minutes.
"After half-time, our team played excellently for 20 minutes, led 2-0, played totally superior - Maguire of course also helped a little.
It's a shame that the team then lost their rhythm.
Because a win here would have given me self-confidence.”
Germany draws in England: Timo Werner disappoints on the part of the DFB team
On the part of the DFB team, Timo Werner was particularly negative.
The RB Leipzig returnee came on at half-time for Jonas Hofmann and was 2-0 up after an hour.
The 26-year-old entered the penalty area from the right and even benefited from a slip by Eric Dier.
However, Werner did not look for the end from five meters, but decided to cross.
However, the striker did not show the necessary precision and played the ball back to the opponent without need.

However, when his former Chelsea colleague Kai Havertz scored to make it 2-0, he kept track of things and was ultimately able to at least act as a preparer.
The striker problem is still present, but Flick will probably continue to trust the native of Stuttgart.
Hoeneß, who recently made the headlines with an angry phone call in a one-two, refrained from making a negative comment.
