The district upper league handball players of the SG Moosburg also lost their second game of the season.
The defense was much safer this time.
Moosburg
– A greatly improved defense was not enough for the BOL handball players of SG Moosburg to take something countable in the home game against the state league relegated TSV Mainburg.
They clearly lost 22:27 (12:14) - and this time SGM trainer Otto Holländer struggled with the attack in particular: "We had about 30 missed shots.
That annoys me beyond measure.” The opposing goalkeeper was very strong, but the coach added that he could have done a lot more with different shots.
Time penalties play into the opponent's hands
In the initial phase, the district league promoted from Moosburg was at least on an equal footing and consistently led up to 9:7.
The game-decisive phase for the Dutch followed: the team from Dreirosenstadt lost themselves twice with time penalties, and the clever guests used this to score six goals in a row.
The strong Daniel Kumpmann showed fighting spirit until the break, thanks to his goals it was only 12:14 after 30 minutes from SGM's point of view.

Hardly relief from the bench possible
In the second half, the team continued to trail behind.
Slowly but surely, the wear and tear was also noticeable: Due to various failures, top performers such as Kumpmann, Ferdinand Menzel and Markus Voggenreiter had to work for the entire season.
This took revenge, especially in the last ten minutes: Concentration was gone, the number of missed shots increased again.
The logical consequence: The gap grew to 20:27 before the Moosburgers did a bit of cosmetic result at the end.
The SGM coach especially praised goalkeeper Sebastian Raspe and the improved defensive work compared to the start of the season.
The SGM goals:
Daniel Kumpmann 8/4, Ferdinand Menzel 6, Markus Voggenreiter 4, Robert Kleeberger 2, Julian Hofrichter 1, Marco Stütgens 1.
