The Spanish striker Jennifer Hermoso, one of the captains of the women's soccer team, has shown her support for her fifteen teammates from La Roja who asked not to be called up with the national team.
“I want to publicly express my support for all the compañeras who a few days ago decided to communicate their position.
Not only do I understand their reasons, but I have also experienced many of the sensations and concerns that they have told, " Hermoso said through a statement on her social networks this Wednesday.
Spent the last few days reflecting on all that's been happening with the national team.
I leave you with my thoughts.

Hermoso, who is captain of the national team along with Irene Paredes and Alexia Putellas, has said that this conflict has caused her to go "for days without sleeping" and that her "heart breaks" for living the "worst moments in the history of football female in Spain.
The player, who is also the top scorer in the history of the national team, has stated that she supports her teammates, although she does not share "the ways", and points out that the opinions of the players "must be taken into account ”.
Hermoso's statement comes six days after fifteen players from the Spanish team sent emails to the Royal Spanish Football Federation to report their discomfort with the methodology of coach Jorge Vilda.
In these emails, the soccer players also asked not to be summoned until the situation changes, which, according to the emails, affects their "health and emotional state."
Hermoso has shown in the statement all his support for his teammates and has reiterated the importance of listening to the players.
“It is important to understand that the situation we are experiencing does not happen overnight.
It is evident that it is the consequence of a series of events, behaviors, decisions, failed attempts and wear and tear from trying to make the voices of the players heard”, insisted the striker, at the same time that she has distanced herself from the group of 15 players .
Hermoso has reiterated that she does not "agree with all the actions that have been taken."
Hermoso's statement joins the support shown by Alexia Putellas, who was not part of the original group of "las 15" either.
The winner of the Ballon d'Or shared last Friday on her social networks the same letter that her teammates had sent to the RFEF.
