After more than three weeks away, Karim Benzema returns to the field this Wednesday with Real Madrid.
The French striker had been hit in the right thigh since September 6 after an injury in the Champions League against Celtic Glasgow (3-0).
The 34-year-old striker missed three games with his club as well as the two meetings of the France team, played last week.
Real Madrid announced this return to training on their social networks.
The Spanish and European champions face Osasuna this Sunday in La Liga before receiving Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
Will Benzema be able to participate in these meetings?
He should take his time to get back to his best form.
But for Didier Deschamps and the Blues, this return seems like good news as the injuries are piling up less than two months before the World Cup in Qatar.
Barring a relapse by then, Benzema will be on his feet to help France win a third star.

The tricolor staff had already welcomed the return to training of midfielder Ngolo Kanté with Chelsea on Tuesday.
He had been sidelined since mid-August with a hamstring injury.
