Urs Fischer will remain the coach of Bundesliga club Union Berlin beyond the end of the season.
As the club announced on Wednesday, the contract with the 56-year-old Swiss had been extended.
No information was given about the term.
Fischer's assistant Markus Hoffmann also received a new contract.
