According to Klaus Toppmöller, father of FCB assistant Dino Toppmöller, FC Bayern is missing a striker.
That's why he now recommends a Gladbach attacker.
Munich – Head coach Julian Nagelsmann is responsible for everything that happens on the pitch at Bayern Munich.
The 35-year-old is always supported by his assistant coaches, in addition to Xaver Zembrod, Dino Toppmöller also assists the Munich coach.
As is well known, the latter has a famous father, the ex-national player and former coach Klaus Toppmöller.
Before Bayern's Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen, he gave his best assessment and recommended a player to his son's team.
FC Bayern: Klaus Toppmöller, father of assistant coach Dino, is convinced of the FCB championship
Klaus Toppmöller was a respected Bundesliga striker and went on the hunt for goals for Eintracht Trier and Kaiserslautern, among others.
The three-time national player later reached the final of the DFB Cup and the final of the Champions League as coach of Bayer Leverkusen in the 2001/02 season, but his team lost both games and also finished runners-up.
His son Dino Toppmöller is apparently following in his father's footsteps, the assistant coach even stood on the sidelines for four games last season when Nagelsmann contracted the corona virus.

Apparently, the current crisis at FC Bayern does not impress Klaus Toppmöller.
The 71-year-old said to the
that he was “rock-solid” that the record champions would also win their eleventh championship title in a row.
“At some point it will be up and running again, and then they can win ten times in a row.
Their dominance is not boring, they just have the best players and the best team," he explained.
However, he sees a shortcoming at FCB, but only since this summer.
FC Bayern: According to Klaus Toppöller, "only one striker is missing" - he recommends Marcus Thuram
“After the departure of Robert Lewandowski, only one striker is missing from this strong squad,” said the former Georgian national coach.
Toppmöller already has a replacement in mind for the Pole who has moved to Barcelona.
"If I were FC Bayern, I would try to find Mönchengladbach's Marcus Thuram.
He's big, fast, good in the air and will be free next summer."
On the fourth day of the game, Thuram scored in the 1-1 draw against FC Bayern in the Allianz Arena.

One for Bayern Munich?
Marcus Thuram is Gladbach's top scorer
Marcus Thuram, son of French world and European champion Lilian Thuram, has been playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach since the summer of 2019 and has been his team's top scorer this season with three goals and two assists.
Since moving to the Bundesliga, the four-time French international has made 88 appearances in the top flight, scoring 24 goals and providing 18 assists.

In a total of 110 competitive games for Borussia, he scored 34 goals and prepared 25 more.
In particular, the attacker's contract situation will probably attract some interested parties.
Should he not extend, he would be available from July without a fee and possibly an option for Bayern.
