"It's a tricky thing": Hamann explains where Sadio Mané's problem lies

After a furious start, Sadio Mané is currently in crisis at Bayern.
TV expert Didi Hamann is certain that he has identified the reason for his creative crisis.
Munich - Changes in the air can often work wonders.
It's been almost two weeks since Sadio Mané suffered his first defeat of the season with FC Bayern Munich at FC Augsburg (0-1).
It's been a good month since Mané last scored - for Bayern Munich.
Because in the past ten days the 30-year-old stayed with the Senegalese national team, international break.
And: In the 2-0 win against Bolivia, Mané scored from the penalty spot.
The hoped-for liberation?
That will become clear on Friday when Bayern meet Bayer Leverkusen (8.30 p.m.).

From the point of view of Sky expert and ex-Bayern star Didi Hamann, Mané's problem is more due to Bayern's game direction.
And the gait of coach Julian Nagelsmann.
“So far, Sadio Mané has been seeded.
If he performs, that's no problem.
But when the team-mates see that he's in the starting XI in every game, even though he doesn't perform as well, that's a tricky thing," explains Hamann at
Sport Bild
.
So you have to ask yourself: "Is Mané part of the top eleven in his current form?"
From Hamann's point of view, Mané is "not happy on the pitch at the moment" and "not integrated" into the Bayern squad.
"In Liverpool he had a playing centre-forward in Roberto Firmino, who put the balls off him.
Now he was in most games in the center himself: He's only half as strong there as on the side," says Hamann with certainty.
Most recently, ex-professional Mané even called it a "foreign body" in the Bayern game.
A tough statement.

So does Mané have to go on the wing after all?
Nagelsmann had last set up his protégé there.
Hamann also sees a problem here: "He's missing the passing station at the top, he needs a reference point in the center."
While Hamann is clearly critical, FCB sports director Hasan Salihamidzic Mané jumped to the side.
"Sadio still needs a little time, he has to get used to it, including the Bundesliga, but he will," he recently told

Maybe the change of air did him good.
