2022-09-29T07:05:53.580Z

The president of PSG is in turmoil after the front page of Liberation this Thursday, September 29, which highlights Qatar's "sulphurous methods" for Nasser al-Khelaïfi.

“Blackmail, abuse and USB keys, the boss of PSG at the heart of a scandal”,

headlines our colleagues from

Liberation

in their front page dated Thursday, September 29, 2022. The daily published a large investigation into the Qatari methods in the service of Nasser al-Khelaïfi involving death threats, confidential documents and cases of torture.

If the Parisian club would not be directly involved, it is the whole

“nebula revolving around PSG”

which is torn apart in this investigation.

In its three-page investigation,

Liberation

explains that a Franco-Algerian entrepreneur "Tayeb B."

41 years old, was arrested in Doha at the beginning of 2020. Imprisoned in Qatar for nine months, the man then had several confidential documents on the private and professional life of the president of PSG as well as his Qatari entourage, including additional evidence of the alleged corruption of Qatar for the awarding of the next World Cup (November 20 - December 18).

According to

“a source close to these investigations qualified as ultra-sensitive”

contacted by

Liberation

, the victim Tayeb B. would have sought to

“place himself to monetize the documents”

in order to obtain

“a consideration or money”.

Qatar nevertheless wanted to ensure that these confidential documents could never come out and thus tarnish the reputation and status of Nasser al-Khelaïfi, close to the Emir Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani.

Born in Gennevilliers in 1981, “Tayeb B.”

is described by

Liberation

as a

"frenzied entrepreneur with a vast network"

, who would lead no less than fifteen companies.

He had settled in Doha, Qatar with his family since 2019. The Franco-Algerian, who invests in the Gulf and in Africa, claims to have met Nasser al-Khelaïfi in 2017 through his associative activities carried out in Ile-de-France in which takes part the PSG and beIN Sports chaired by “NAK”.

abuse and threats

To free her husband, Tayeb B.'s wife goes on trips between Qatar and Algeria, while her husband is transferred to Salwa Road prison where he is placed in total isolation, in inhuman conditions.

Sometimes forced to sit on a chain without moving and talking for dozens of hours.

His wife's mission is to deliver "a red suitcase" to Qatar containing a large number of confidential documents and digital information with the formal prohibition to contact the French Police.

On the advice of Yamina Benguigui, former Minister Delegate for Francophonie in the government of Jean-Marc Ayrault, Tayeb B.'s wife meets Rachida Dati who will direct her to the cabinet of Olivier Prado, a size of the Paris bar and media figure close to Eric Zemmour.

Information confirmed by the Mayor of the 7th arrondissement of Paris and Maitre Prado, both contacted by

Liberation.

Discussions and long negotiations then took place with the lawyers of Nasser al-Khelaïfi: Francis Szpiner and his associate Renaud Semerdjian aiming to return all the USB keys to Qatar.

On June 15, two keys were handed over before the last one was definitively returned on July 1, leading to the release of Tayeb B.
