The tournament will cost the football association millions of shekels, and there is currently no prospect of any grant being received.

Even the qualification for the Euros for the young teams this week will not lead to receiving a large grant, since, as mentioned, these are non-national teams and on the other hand, the expected preparation for Guy Luzon's team and the tournament itself will cost several millions.

In a rough calculation made by the football association, the great pleasure and achievements of the young teams will cost about NIS 15 million.

What can balance the high expenses involved in participating in these tournaments is the qualification of the Israeli national team to the national teams' Euro in 2024. The football association believes that this time it will happen, when there are two tracks.

Both through the qualifiers, where we will be in a higher tier and also through the Nations League playoffs.

Qualifying for the Euros will earn the football association an amount that can reach 10 million euros and this is the big goal at the moment.
