TSV Eching beats district league team Dorfen in the Toto Cup - one more step to the big ones

While the zebras are already mixing up the district league after relegation, coach Alexander Günther's men caused a sensation again during the week in the Toto Cup.
On Tuesday evening they surprisingly beat the eastern district league team TSV Dorfen in the semi-finals of the Donau/Isar district 1-0 (1-0) and are thus in the final.
A duel with a very big opponent is getting closer and closer.
At the beginning of the week, department head Peter Hanrieder deliberately wanted to keep the ball flat.
"An absolute bonus game" was the duel with Dorfen, the fifth in the district league was the big favorite.
Now the Echinger know: They don't have to make themselves so small, because the victory on Tuesday evening was not so undeserved.
"That was an appealing performance by our team," said the division manager.

Of course, the Echinger didn't play the favorites against the wall at first, but in the course of the first half they found their way into the game better and were able to keep up with the Dorfeners.
After half an hour, cheers echoed across the neighboring square.
After a clever change of sides, the leather ended up with Kevin Stoiber.
He skilfully took the game device with him, moved inwards into the Dorfen penalty area and shot from ten meters unstoppable for the guest keeper (25th).
After that, the TSV men did what has distinguished them in the league so far: They defended more than skilfully, kept Dorfen away from their own goal and finally won this cup semi-final not undeservedly.
The opponent in the final is already certain because SV Manching went one round without a fight against Fatih Ingolstadt.
If the Echinger also win against the north district league team, there is even a match against a regional or third league team.
"Of course that would be a bomb thing," said Hanrieder, who of course now also wants to win the final.
