Boxing legend Valuyev receives mail from the Russian military: "If the fatherland calls, I'll go"

Nikolai Valuyev was a world boxing champion.

Does he soon have to prove himself at the front in the Ukraine war?

Today's politician from Vladimir Putin's United Russia party would be willing to do so.

reports, the 49-year-old received mail from the military even before partial mobilization was ordered in the Ukraine war.

He should report to the recruiting office.

Valuyev has represented Vladimir Putin's ruling party United Russia in the Duma since December 2011, as reported by tz.de.

In February, he voted to recognize the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics -- the prelude to the invasion that has been bringing death and destruction to Ukraine for more than six months.

Russian military reports to Valuyev: "If the fatherland calls, I will go"

According to the letter that Valuyev published on his Telegram channel, he should have already turned up for military service in St. Petersburg on September 15.

So just under a week before the Kremlin boss publicly announced partial mobilization.

The appointment is said to have to do with changes in its registration documents.

Will it then continue to the Russian-occupied areas in southern and eastern Ukraine?

Valuyev doesn't seem averse to being deployed at the front.

He captioned the post, "Putting this out for anyone who's curious.

Private Valuyev did not increase his rank during his time in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

If the fatherland calls me, I will go.” But his political job still comes first, because: “I will be in the conscription office after the plenary weeks.”
