Set for a duel: BC Attaching ready for SV Manching

The BC Attaching district league footballers want to step up their game after beating Palzing.

Opponent Manching, however, is a tough nut to crack.

– Things could get hot again on Saturday at 3 p.m. on the BC Attaching sports field.

Because the district league climber was most successful this season when he involved his opponents in duels.

SV Manching is a team that BCA coach Enes Mehmedovic describes as a "robust, experienced team that doesn't allow too many mistakes".

So as an opponent against which his players can wear themselves out.

The Attachinger footballers draw new courage.

Last matchday they ended a seven-game losing streak with a 2-0 win against Palzing.

"We played the way Palzing usually plays.

So first win duels and then look at the playfulness.

The boys did a great job – they didn't shy away from a duel,” Mehmedovic outlines the recipe for success.

This attitude will also be required on Saturday against Manching.

Only three failures?

Almost a luxury situation for Coach Mehmedovic

The SVM arrives fifth in the table and has its strengths above all on the defensive.

The ten goals conceded are the best in the league behind leaders Feldmoching (six).

But the team coached by Fabian Reichenberger also has quality in attack.

Rainer Meisinger is one of the kickers that the SVM is envied for.

Last weekend the midfielder stopped the opponent's winning streak in the 2-1 win against SV Dornach.

So the Attachingers are warned but prepared.

And now in a state where they don't have to fear any team.

The absence of Manuel Thalhammer, Florian Neumaier and Mirnes Gurbeta weighs heavily, but compared to the first few weeks of the season, only three absences are a luxury for coach Mehmedovic.

BCA needs 'have a good day and a little luck'

“We are well positioned.

There will probably only be two changes," says Mehmedovic, without looking at the cards.

"We'll need a good day and a bit of luck against Manching," continued the BCA coach.

If they have the attachinger, at least one point is possible.
