Eli Desa returned to Moscow yesterday (Thursday) after the national team break, while the war between Russia and Ukraine is intensifying, causing an influx of foreign and Russian citizens outside the country.
The 29-year-old Dynamo defender, who played in the Israel team's matches against Albania and Malta, arrived in Moscow via a connecting flight from Dubai, and is even expected to take part in the upcoming league match against Akhmat Grozny on Sunday.
Despite this, his agent Boaz Goren told the Russian media in an interview that the player "carefully follows the developments in the country".
"Eli will be 100 percent ready for the upcoming league game. The performances in the Israeli national team have not tired him," said Goren, and when asked if Desa did not intend to leave Russia as other foreigners in the league did, he replied: "It is best to address this question to Eli himself, but I can say that we are carefully monitoring the situation. The club is very open with us and shares all the necessary information regarding the developments. My thoughts and heart are with the families who lost their loved ones in the war. Eli intends to fulfill his contract at Dynamo, but we very much hope that everything will be resolved as soon as possible."

Desa joined Dynamo Moscow at the beginning of the month, after he preferred it over Maccabi Tel Aviv and signed with the club for two years.
He managed to make three appearances in his new group.
