The knot does not want to burst at SV Kranzberg.
The Kopp team has to score points against their direct competitors from Eichenried and Wörth.
Kranzberg
– The Kranzberg district league footballers experienced a fast-paced game last weekend: First, the Ampertaler equalized in added time before BSG Taufkirchen scored 4:3 and coach Anton Kopp’s men shot even deeper into the crisis.
From the point of view of the district, the SVK is currently the big problem child: only four points and six goals, but 18 goals against, are after eight games.
Only Wörth and the upcoming opponent Eichenried (Sunday, 3 p.m.) started the new season just as badly.
Kranzberg coach Anton Kopp not yet worried: "There is still enough time"
Will there be relegation worries in Kranzberg after the mastered relegation in the previous season?
"We're not hopelessly lost yet," said coach Kopp.
"There's still enough time." However, the Ampertal team is now faced with two small preliminary decisions: On Sunday, Kranzberger will first visit SV Eichenried, before SV Wörth will be waiting next Friday.
"Even after that, nothing is lost," the coach dismissed.
Last weekend, the SVK coach used the time and scouted in Allershausen when Eichenried was playing there and knew how to convince.
In the end, the SVE won 2:1.
“They are rightly behind.
They bring a certain quality with them," says Kopp.
The newcomer has a few players in the squad who are no strangers to the district: Michael Kopp, for example (VfB Hallbergmoos, not related to the Kranzberger Kopps) or Yakhya Diop (TSV Eching).
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
SV Kranzberg needs to improve both defensive behavior and offensive efforts
However, the Kranzbergers have to look to themselves first and foremost, as the defensive has revealed major weaknesses so far this season.
Again and again the SVK distributed gifts to its opponents.
"We had no defensive behavior today," criticized the trainer, for example, after the Taufkirchen defeat.
And further: "We keep inviting the opponents to score goals and we practically lay the goals on them." One problem with this: A regular back four has not yet been able to get used to it, and the trainer has had to constantly improvise, especially on the flanks .
“There is no vote either,” the coach continues.
Uncertainty spreads throughout the team.
The many goals conceded would be easier to get over if the offensive would hit more regularly.
However, six goals in eight games are also poor - especially because three of them came in the bankruptcy against Taufkirchen.
