The upcoming national team window in November will be played over two days between Friday and Monday, instead of four days • Some of the Euroleague players will be able to take part • Will the appointment of Dian Bodiroga as the president of the top factory in the continent bring with it big news?

Is there finally a move towards the end of the long conflict between FIBA and the Euroleague?

FIBA announced a few days ago that the next team window in November will be played over two days between Friday and Monday, instead of four days between Thursday and Monday.

This may allow some Euroleague players to participate in their national team matches.

After years of conflict and disconnection, it is possible that some path to progress towards cooperation between the two largest organizations on the continent will open up here.

The climax of the conflict was the issue of the windows of the national teams during the game season.

When this decision of FIBA came, the Euroleague refused to take it into account, thus creating a situation where most of the Euroleague players do not take part in the national team matches when they are held during the season.

This distortion created a situation where national teams appeared in secondary formations and it hurt them.

The president of the Greek Federation, Vaglis Leolios, was quoted on the Eurohops website about this step and said that FIBA took the first step for the union in European basketball, and now he expects the Euroleague to take its own step.

Recently, a new president was appointed for the Euroleague, in the form of former basketball player Dian Bodiroga, who previously held a position in the FIBA.

Maybe this step will also help in thawing the relationship.

Israel will meet Slovenia in the upcoming national team window on Friday 11.11 in Tel Aviv, and will play in Sweden the following Monday.
