FIBA announced a few days ago that the next team window in November will be played over two days between Friday and Monday, instead of four days between Thursday and Monday.
This may allow some Euroleague players to participate in their national team matches.

The climax of the conflict was the issue of the windows of the national teams during the game season.
When this decision of FIBA came, the Euroleague refused to take it into account, thus creating a situation where most of the Euroleague players do not take part in the national team matches when they are held during the season.
This distortion created a situation where national teams appeared in secondary formations and it hurt them.
The president of the Greek Federation, Vaglis Leolios, was quoted on the Eurohops website about this step and said that FIBA took the first step for the union in European basketball, and now he expects the Euroleague to take its own step.
