On October 1, 2016, there were only 200 ultras to fill the Auteuil corner during a match between PSG and the Girondins de Bordeaux (2-0).
An innocuous match on paper, but which counted in the memory of some of the PSG fans.
After five years of absence linked to the Leproux plan, the ultras made their return to the Parc des Princes that day and wrote a new chapter in the history of the Parisian club.
Since then, the contingent has grown considerably and today there are more than 2,000 members of the Collectif Ultras Paris group which will celebrate, this Saturday evening, on the occasion of the reception of OGC Nice, its six years of presence at the Princes Park.
If no big festivities should be on the program for this match of the 9th day of Ligue 1, the CUP should give voice as it has done since the start of the season, after the encouragement strike at the end of last season.
Returning since April at the head of the group which takes place at the Auteuil bend, Romain Mabille wants, in any case, to continue to breathe a warm atmosphere into the spans of the Parisian enclosure.
“I am determined to show that the Auteuil bend is alive, that PSG has supporters capable of animating the stands, of moving around, of making tifos, confided to us Romain Mabille last July.
We also want to refocus on the basics: bring together all the PSG supporters, be open, discuss.
We will join the global project.
The club is entering a new era, with new people, new goals, we will try to raise our level of play as well and support them.
It's our job.

On this occasion, the Collectif Ultras Paris will also allow supporters who so wish to join the group before the match against OGC Nice.
The CUP will then close registrations.
