Barcelona resurfaced against Baskonia (89-72) to add their first victory in the ACB this season.

Without Mirotic, injured and without a return date, and after falling in the Super Cup against Madrid and starting the regular season with a defeat against Gran Canaria, Jasikevicius's men found their way thanks to a second half in which they ate up their rival, who had dominated them until now.

The azulgrana were at the mercy of Baskonia during the first half.

The defense was leaking everywhere and Peñarroya's team exceeded 50 points at the break (39-51).

In attack, the outside game did not give results, with a 2 of 8 in triples, while Baskonia found the hoop from all positions.

Vesely was not able to hold on to the team and Baskonia enjoyed watching his rival show no signs of reaction.

Seeing his team shipwreck again, Jasikevicius steadied his team with the half-time talk, in which he insisted on increasing the defensive intensity.

Said and done.

As if it were a different team, the Blaugrana came out with two more marches and Baskonia could not respond to the avalanche.

Abrines and Vesely tied the game (51-51) with a 12-0 run in four minutes, and the defense once again showed iron security.

Baskonia did not recover from the restart and the game entered a more comfortable rhythm for Barça, who now found the spaces to run and the defense worked like a charm.

Hammer by hammer, they ended Baskonia's confidence.

The third quarter ended with a devastating 26-7 for Barça, which extended the military walk to the last act, in which they also easily beat the team from Vitoria (24-16), who went from winning 12 to going down 20 , with only 21 points in the second half.

Vesely finished as the game's top scorer (15 points), Satoransky offered a good version in the second half (five assists and two recoveries) and Abrines shone from the perimeter (13 points with three of seven on three-pointers).

The new helmsmen in charge of keeping the culé boat afloat until Mirotic returns.

Madrid and Valencia remain undefeated

Barça, who will debut in the Euroleague against Olympiakos on Friday, is in the wake of the undefeated: Lenovo Tenerife, Río Breogán, Bilbao Basket, Real Madrid and Valencia.

Chus Mateo's men added their second victory in the morning in their match against Monbus Obradoiro.

Madrid, with another great performance by Musa (22 points and four rebounds), went over their rival from the start of the game and signed their first win (93-79) of the season at the Wizink Center, which paid tribute to Pablo Laso.

Later, Valencia beat Joventut in extra time in a crazy match (101-97).

In the match in which Valencia withdrew 17 from Rafa Martínez, Taronja legend, Alex Mumbrú's men showed muscle to win a hard-fought and long-suffering victory.

Harper (24 points) and Guy (27) had an intense duel from the perimeter that resulted in six bingos for each.

In the end, it was Valencia who dealt the last blow in an extra time forced by a Dubljevic basket at the last second.
