Drama in Indonesia: "I never felt safe there", the decryption of two former players

Words fail to describe the drama in which Indonesia has been plunged since Saturday evening.

While they came to watch the derby between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya, at least 125 spectators lost their lives in crowd movements caused by violence at the final whistle.

Furious after the defeat of their home team against the rival club, Arema FC supporters began to invade the pitch.

In front of them, stood up the police who made massive use of tear gas to disperse them.

While trying to flee, several spectators were trampled or asphyxiated.
