The Mancunian club was ridiculed in the 188th derby of the city by its neighbor Manchester City (6-3) and it lost its French defender Raphaël Varane.
We play the 33rd minute of the match and City have already taken the lead when the French world champion saw his ankle turn while countering an attempt by Phil Foden.
The central defender who withdrew from the field on the corner which allowed Haaland to score the second goal for the Citizens (34th) then tried to come back into play. But Varane had to give up quickly enough to make way for Victor Lindelöf (40th).
We do not know at this stage the seriousness of the Frenchman's injury less than two months before the start of the World Cup in Qatar.

This injury therefore added a little more to the nightmare of the Mancunians this Sunday.
On his own, Erling Haaland took it upon himself to punish United.
Manchester City's Norwegian star scored a hat-trick in minutes.
While City were already leading 1-0 from the 8th minute, the Norwegian started his festival in the 34th minute before doubling (37th) then tripling the bet (65th) for his personal account.
It is the third time in three games that the prodigy has scored a hat-trick at home, an unprecedented performance in the English championship.
Phil Foden also scored three goals.
At the break, City were already leading 4-0.
There was obviously no more match in the second period but there were goals, more goals.
The Red Devils tried to salvage what was left of their honor to go up to 6-3 with a brace from Anthony Martial.
The defeat is just as heavy but the punishment a little less severe.
