The one who was not a part of Manchester United's defeat yesterday in the city derby 6:3 to Manchester City is the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, who spent the entire 90 minutes on his team's bench.
Dutch coach Erik ten Haag explained after the game: "I didn't put him on the field out of respect."
Victor Lindelof, Anthony Martial, Fred, Casemiro and Luke Shaw all came off the bench ahead of Ronaldo, with the coach insisting afterwards that the 37-year-old did not deserve to be subjected to humiliation at the hands of Pep Guardiola's champion.
"When you don't believe on the pitch, then you can't win games; it's unacceptable. We become undisciplined in following the rules and get defeats," added Ten Haag after yesterday's humiliation.
As I remember, a goal by Antony and a double by Martial, who came on as a substitute, lie a little in the result of the game, because the contents simply trampled the city rival, and already at halftime they led 0:4.
