The opening of the NBA season is fast approaching, and this morning (Monday), one of the strongest teams in the league, the Phoenix Suns, lost a practice game to the Australian team Adelaide 134:124.
Monty Williams' team came up with its strongest squad, with Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson and DeAndre Ayton in the top five.
The Australians became the first team from the country to beat an NBA team.
Before the game, the Suns were pegged as favorites to win the game by 29 points, but it ended up being the NBA team's first loss to an international opponent since 2015. Michael Bridges led the Suns with 22 points, as did DeAndre Eaton.
Chris Paul gave 12 assists, but scored only 6 points.
