Hapoel Tel-Aviv held a press conference this evening (Monday) on the occasion of the opening of the 2022/23 game season in the Winner Basket League and Bureau Cup.
Chairman Rami Cohen, coach Danny Franco and captain Bar Timor spoke at the event, which was held in the hall of the Shlomo group.
Chairman Rami Cohen: "We are at the beginning of a season, I stopped counting but there is no doubt that this is a special season.
We have taken a lot of steps in the last two years to take this club a little further and break a few more glass ceilings.
This year we did several things that had not happened before, the main ones of course being the registration to Europe for a very challenging enterprise.
We have worked very hard in the last few months to be ready for this challenge."
Coach Danny Franco: "I've also already managed to count which season I'm starting, but it's always exciting and challenging. There's a bunch of players here, some of whom we had a lot of fun working with last year. There's a talented team here, we went through a pretty complex pre-season, we had a lot Upheavals and we tried to consolidate the group in the best way possible.

"All of this is currently being put aside for Friday - the start of the season. I'm sure we'll all be excited, otherwise we wouldn't be doing what we're doing.
Captain Bar Timor: "Continuing to what Rami and Danny said, the club has made a huge leap in the last two years, at least from my first day here in the second round. The work environment has moved forward in a way that I don't remember in any club in Israel, perhaps, at the most serious level. They have formed a team here that strives to play on All titles and these will be our goals."
