Al-Nabek team won the Republic Cup championship for women’s handball, after defeating Al-Nasr team by 16-18 goals in the final match of the competition, which was held at Al-Fayhaa Sub-Hall in Damascus.
Al-Nabek qualified for the final match, after finishing second in the first round, while Al-Nasr qualified after obtaining the first place in the same round, knowing that the tournament was played in a league manner from one stage, at the end of which the first and second place winners qualify for the final match.
The teams of Qasioun, Mhardeh, Al-Nabek, Al-Nasr and the Central Police, who won the title of the previous edition of the tournament, participated in the competition.
