Sexual violence in sport: do we need a Sauvé Commission?

As revelations of sexual assault or rape follow one another, does sport need an independent body to count the number?


Like Catherine Moyon de Baecque, Isabelle Demongeot or Sarah Abitbol before her, Fiona Ferro accuses her former trainer of sexual assault and rape, when the tenniswoman was aged 15 to 18.

At the same time, an investigation charges the French Football Federation with having hidden sexual abuse, including of minors.

But in the shadow of media affairs, how many young athletes are victims of such acts in French sport?
