Tölz against Lenggries: emotional roller coaster ride in the neighborhood duel

Lenggrieser SC almost lost the win against Rot-Weiss after a 4-0 lead
Bad Tölz/Lenggries – Dark clouds gathered over the sports field on Kohlstattstraße at the change of sides.
The mood matched the situation of Rot-Weiss Bad Tölz, who were still well served in the derby against Lenggrieser SC with a 0:4 deficit.
Hardly anyone would have bet a damn on the home side, but in the end they just missed a point with 3:4 (0:4).
If LSC keeper Maxi Kleim hadn't defused Adrian Ackermann's diving header with a brilliant save shortly before the end, the promoted team would have completed the race to catch up with a partial success.

"It's okay to lose.
Lenggries showed a strong performance in the first half,” admits RW coach Sebastian Wagner.
“My team was a total failure.
I've never seen them so weak.” Siegfried Bahner was under constant fire from the start.
Jakob Gerg and Michael Demmel failed because of the keeper before Demmel succeeded.
Lenggries put pressure on, combined quickly and directly through the ranks of Tölzer.
Most of the time the ball rolled over Jakob, Hias or Leonhard Gerg, while Demmel and Michael Schnaderbeck got into position in front.
The latter scored to make it 2-0, Demmel continued to extend his lead.
An impressive performance from the guests and when Leo Gerg netted a penalty to give the 4-0 lead at the break it looked like a wasted day for Tölz.
Lenggries gets completely out of step
After the restart, the next chance for Lenggries.
Instead of playing the ball, Max Angermeier tried to finish himself and failed.
Almost in return, Fatih Kocyigit risked a shot from the touchline - and scored.
The start of the race to catch up?
Not really, right?
Damian Staudke really reduced the lead to 2:4 and Lenggries went completely out of step.
Coach Stefan Simon: "Not unusual for young players, but the older ones should have shown more leadership qualities."
Kleim's rescue secures victory
Access was lost.
Kleim got another chance to excel, deflecting Ahmed Abu Swid's header over the bar.
It got really exciting.
The hosts sensed their chance, after Shpend Sahiti made it 3:4 the outcome of the game was open.
There was almost a draw, but then Kleim saved the game.
It wasn't enough for more.
In addition to traffic light cards in the final phase for Ackermann and Angermeier, there was also a smooth dismissal for Bahner.
The Red and White keeper played the ball with his hand outside the penalty area.
