FC Bayern Munich meets Viktoria Pilsen in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Which formation does Julian Nagelsmann choose?

Munich - It's one after the other for FC Bayern Munich.

After the convincing performance in the Bundesliga against Bayer Leverkusen (4-0), the next task is on Tuesday: Viktoria Pilsen is a guest in the Allianz Arena (kick-off 6.45 p.m.), it is part one of the mammoth program for the German record champion.

Because from now on there are only English weeks until November 12th.

After the crisis before the international break, a first step has already been taken.

More are to follow.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann knows that he has to economize with the strength of his players.

After all, you want to be successful in all three competitions by the winter break and ideally the Bayern stars will then play a successful World Cup in Qatar - be it for Germany, France or the Netherlands.

FC Bayern: lineup in the Champions League against Viktoria Pilsen – is Nagelsmann rotating?

After the dream start in the premier class with victories against Inter Milan and FC Barcelona, the big outsider of the group is now waiting: Viktoria Pilsen.

The Czechs lost their first two games and will of course be the underdog in the Allianz Arena.

Accordingly, it would be quite possible that Nagelsmann would give many a frequent player a breather on Tuesday evening.

Who gets to play in the Champions League?

The 35-year-old hasn't made up his mind yet, just said meaningfully: "I'll let everyone who's in a good mood play from the start and change earlier." Or: "I'll bring in some who haven't played that much and get the other 30 minutes to go to keep the rhythm.”

Of course, Manuel Neuer will be in goal, but there should be rotations in defense.

Nagelsmann revealed on PK that Alphonso Davies might be a candidate for a break.

The Reds have no real backup on the left side of defence.

That may be why right-back Josip Stanisic slips to this position.

In central defence, Matthijs de Ligt and Dayot Upamecano are available after Lucas Hernandez was injured.

Noussair Mazraoui could get a chance at right back.

Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Müller will definitely be missing from Bayern after their positive corona tests.

Although Nagelsmann explained that both are symptom-free, they are of course not an option. A young new signing could come into their own: According to the coach, Ryan Gravenberch has a good chance of being able to play against Pilsen from the start.

Many a fan will think: finally!

After all, the midfielder has only started in the DFB Cup against Viktoria Köln.

Overall, the 20-year-old has a slim 227 minutes this season.

Who plays with the Dutchman in central midfield?

Leon Goretzka should be in the lead after Marcel Sabitzer started against Leverkusen.

FC Bayern Munich can rely on Jamal Musiala in top form

When Nagelsmann talks about bringing up players who are "in good spirits", he means first and foremost Jamal Musiala.

The Bayern jewel also convinced against Leverkusen and is currently the Munich team with the best form.

Another candidate for the starting eleven is Serge Gnabry, who has rarely been allowed to play recently.

Leroy Sané and Sadio Mané are other top stars that Nagelsmann could bring from the start – but recently the fans in particular have been demanding playing time for Mathys Tel. The 17-year-old Frenchman promptly scored in his Bundesliga starting XI debut against VfB Stuttgart and one strong performance delivered.

Since then he has been pushing the bench.

So can a third young Wilder join Stanisic and Gravenberch?

Nagelsmann is spoiled for choice - even though two top players are missing in Müller and Kimmich.

Kingsley Coman is not ready for action either.

The Frenchman celebrated his return to training after his injury, but Pilsen is still too early.

Probable line-up of FC Bayern Munich against Viktoria Pilsen:

Neuer - Mazraoui, Upamecano, de Ligt, Stanisic - Goretzka, Gravenberch - Sané, Musiala, Gnabry - Tel.
