With an illustrious 15-year professional career that includes four victories in the legendary Tour de France, it's not easy to surprise Chris Froome when it comes to experiences on two wheels.
But the unique Israeli experience - riding on roads empty of traffic on Yom Kippur - became an unforgettable memory for the British rider of Israel Premier Tech.
Fromm, who is currently visiting Israel, jumped at the opportunity to train with his teammate, the Israeli Guy Shagib, on the coastal road from Tel Aviv to Beit Oren, the ascent to Haifa University and back to Tel Aviv via Route 4.

"We barely saw a car," said Guy.
"A lot of people recognized us, of course, and Chris was delighted by the experience. Only in Israel!".
Fromm uploaded a selfie of the two to his Instagram account and wrote: "An amazing ride in Israel," he told his over a million followers.
"I didn't have to worry about the traffic for a moment and I took advantage of it to the end. A good signing for everyone."
