At the start of the national league, the women of SG Tölz/Isar-Loisach suffered two defeats (0:3 and 2:3).

Bad Tölz – Everyone had been looking forward to this first state league matchday with the volleyball players from TV Bad Tölz and VSG Isar-Loisach.
First and foremost the players, who were excited about the level of the national league;
then coach Mirko Panev, who, after anything but easy preparation, wasn't really able to assess where his team was at.
And of course the large number of spectators - including the Tölz department head Wolfram Fischer and some former players.
What they were offered by the newly formed team SG Bad Tölz-Isar-Loisach was quite respectable and with a bit of luck a first victory would have been possible.
In the end there was a clear 0:3 against TV Bad Grönenbach and an unfortunate 2:3 against the selection of FSV Marktoffingen.
Too many assumption errors in the first match
In the first match, it was noticeable that the team had not completed a single preparatory game in this composition and that there was a lack of coordination among themselves.
Added to this was the opposing serve pressure, which made it difficult for the SG girls to bring the first ball cleanly to set player Maja Siegle.
The statistics kept by Panev alone showed seven assumption errors that could not be made up for.
On the other hand, only once did they manage to get more than one point in their own service game.
And although the hostesses stabilized in the following rounds, it was ultimately the error rate that caused the loss of the game at 0:3 (15:25, 18:25, 20:25).
Returning Kammerer in the Libera position
Coach Mirko Panev switched against Marktoffingen and ordered returnee Julia Kammerer to the Libera position.
Instead of her, captain Julia Steinbacher gave her season debut on the diagonal.
This tactical measure was immediately successful.
The acceptance stabilized against FSV women in a good mood and, after falling behind several sets, it was possible to fend off the first set ball and, when newcomer Francesca Cazzato served, to get the first set in the national league with 26:24.
The SG women increased this gain in the second round and increased their lead by 25:19 to 2:0.
Strong resistance in the national league
That would probably have been enough to win in the district league, but no team is so easily defeated in the state league.
As the game progressed, the Panev protégés noticed the wear and tear of strength.
Because although there were only six opponents, the strenuous first match weighed heavily on the shoulders of the women from Isarwinkl.
So they had to accept the 2:2 set equalization.
As is so often the case, the subsequent tie-break was not for the faint of heart.
A four-point lead and several match points wasted later, the guests were able to celebrate the victory, while the SG women were 2:3 (26:24, 25:19, 19:25, 14:25, 16:18) had to pay tribute to the circumstances.
The disappointment was great, although spectators and coaches saw a very committed team.
Panev sees new signing Francesca Cazzato as a "stroke of luck" in her role as outside attacker.
For Wolfram Fischer, the tall player was the "most powerful attacker".
The next time you play with VSG players
There is now time until the next mission on Saturday, October 15th, to process the game day and prepare the team for the upcoming tasks.
Then players from the VSG Isar-Loisach can be used for the first time, which is possible from the third game onwards with the chosen form of the game community.
In any case, Veronika Oswald should be able to play in Langweid, whose passport had not been obtained in time for the start.
