New acquisition for Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona just before the start of the 2022/23 season: guard Kalil Ahmed has finalized his terms on a contract until the end of the season.
The American guard (25, 1.93 m) excelled last year in Horsens of the Danish league with averages of 20.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists and then in Niagara of the Canadian league with 21.1 points, 4.7 assists and 4 rebounds per game.
Ahmed will be the sixth foreigner in Lior Liubin's squad who, as I recall, will compete this season in the Balkan League where his team is marked as one of the favorites to win.
