Berlin, SANA- The German club Leipzig announced today the absence of its Hungarian player, Peter Golache, from the stadiums for a long time.

German club RB Leipzig announced today the absence of Hungarian player Peter Gulache for a long time, due to an injury to his right knee.

The club stated on its official website that Gulace had torn the cruciate ligament of his right knee, during his team's 3-1 victory over Celtic in the Champions League yesterday, while he was trying to clear a back ball for fellow striker Timo Werner.

Gulache, 32, joined Leipzig from Austrian Red Bull Salzburg in 2015, and led him to the German Cup title this year, which was the first time in the club's history.
