The captain of the Argentina national team and who is considered by many to be the best player in history, Lionel Messi, announced (tonight) that the World Cup in Qatar will be the last for him: "This is for sure the last tournament for me. I feel good physically, but I will not be in the next World Cup with the team."
The 35-year-old star of Paris Saint-Germain expressed how excited he is for the World Cup next month in Qatar, and even shared that he feels particularly stressed: "I'm counting the days until the World Cup, I'm a little anxious about it, but it's my last one and we're coming In good shape with the goal of ending my national team career in a good way."
