Swimming: a major international meeting in France from 2023 for the Paris Olympics

The French Swimming Federation announces the creation of the Giant Open, a new competition whose first edition will take place in March p


The world elite of swimming gathered in France every year in March, this is the ambition displayed by the Giant Open.

The French Swimming Federation unveiled this Thursday the creation of this new meeting with an "unpublished concept".

The objective is clear: to perfect the preparation of French swimmers for the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024, the following year.

All while promoting tricolor sport capable of organizing "a confrontation worthy of the greatest international meetings".

The first edition will take place in 2023 on a site that has yet to be determined.

A call for applications has been launched.

The communication agency EventTeam is at the origin of this project with the FFN.

"By combining our know-how with that of the Federation, we will be able to offer a unique, television format combining sport and entertainment", promises CEO Igor Juzon.

This competition will not be a one-time event linked only to the Olympics.

It is destined to settle in the international calendar, according to its organizers.
